NO RESERVE!!!! I am selling a 1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 I bought at an estate sale in Maryland. I have the complete history of the car and the original window sticker from Ford dealer. I bought the car as a 55k original miles from estate attorney. I had the title transferred to VA and my name. VA would not put 55K miles on title without state police affidavit from Maryland verifying mileage. VA DMV screwed up mileage. It has "not actual mileage" on title and wrong numbers also. I have no reason to believe otherwise because of the cars condition, engine and chassis are clean. I am stating this because I screwed up transferring title, but I thought I was keeping the car at the time. I can't supply buyer with anything that guarantees mileage is accurate.
I bought the car with a broken valve spring. I trailered it home to VA and removed entire top end of engine. I installed a B303 cam, lifters, felpro gaskets, timing chain, comp push rods, 1.6 roller rockers, World Products Windsor Lite heads, 1.94/1/60 valves, .600 lift springs, water pump, radiator, power pulleys, water pump, upper and lower hoses, 160 T-stat, Ported and welded GT40 intake, 65mm TB, 70mm MASS AIR, full exhaust, king cobra clutch and flywheel, adjustable quadrant and clutch cable, new speedo cable and sender with gear. Speedo still bounces below 40 mph. I think speedo has issue. I put NEW white top on car. Had seats reupholstered in white leather. Originals had small cracks in them. Car still needs some weather stripping for top replaced but expensive stuff is done. Matching white conv boot top also. Paint is original and not faded or peeling. A small dings in passenger door. Only notice within 10 feet or less. Paintless dent company can easily remove. A/C was deleted before I got it. Evap and wiring all there. Blocked off correctly. NO emissions on this car. EGR delete. NO Engine lights! I figure car is a strong 12 second car. I have not taken to track, but I have owned 20 plus mustangs ranging from stock to 8 second 1/4 mile. This car runs strong.
Car has Z rate T5 trans, Pro 5.0 shifter, aluminum drive shaft and built 8.8 rear. Auburn Pro with 31 spline strange axles and girdle. Full UPR pro series suspension, Team Z springs, and Strange adj. shocks, Nitto drag radials. Have receipts from Ford dealer who built rear end.
Car has large stereo system in it. I don't know anything about it. It was in car when I bought it. It is loud and clear. Car comes with parts I have not installed. Aeromotive fuel pump, new tires for front, lowering springs and coil over springs. I have pics of car when first bought and original sales contract. I am forgetting something so ask any questions.
