This is for a Nice Refurbished Original 1932 Ford Cabriolet Convertible with a Rumble Seat.
All Henry Ford Steel.
Specifics:
  • This car was purchased by the present owner in 1995 and the Refurbishing work was completed in 2003.
  • This Car is stored in a Climate ControlledStorage Facility, and it is sometimes used in local parades.
Refurbishing:
After purchasing this car in 1995, the owner shortly there after sent it out to be refurbished, by having the following work performed...
  • The mechanical brake system was totally rebuilt with new parts where needed.
  • The front and rear axle assembly was totally rebuilt with new parts where needed.
  • The front and rear shocks were replace with new original type.
  • The gas tank was replaced with a new reproductionsteel tank.
  • The radiator was tested, cleaned, and repaired.
  • All of the cooling system parts were replaced.
  • The stock 18" wheels were stripped, straightened, repainted, and new 525/550-18 B.F. Goodrich tires were installed.
  • The original body was is nice condition, however, the original black paint was showing it's age, so, the owner had the car completely painted... All of the parts (fenders, doors, hood, and etc) were removed from the outside of the body and then they were paintedindividually. The Body was repainted on the frame.
  • The electrical wiring harnesses were also replaced.
Details:
  • The engine in this car appears to be a stock 1932 Ford V8 engine. However, the Intake Manifold, Fuel Pump, and Generator are from a later model (1934-36) Ford V8. The Carburetor is a Stromberg 97, and it was rebuilt a few years ago.
  • The engine runs very smooth and quite, and it does not get hot even in some of the long parades that it has been used in here in San Antonio, Texas.
  • The interior and rumble seat area is nice, and theconvertibletop is in good operating condition.
  • This car also comes with it's Ford Original Tools... Jack, Handle and Lug Wrench, Grease Gun, and a Tool Pouch with it's assorted tools... See picture.
  • Please note: The original electric horn is not working at this time. However, it has been know to work sometimes.
