Description

Started as project with my 16 yr nephew a year ago, now he has eyes set on something else. Initially diagnosed some of what it needs. to the best of my knowledge, Electric fuel pump works with a jumper hot wire, fuse good, so needs connection traced, so it started and runs, but poorly, barely any power output, help from mechanic friend estimates the timing chain is worn and jumped a few notches, so thus no torque from engine. we were able to drive a block or so, 5 speed tranny works in 1-4 won't stay in 5th, a worn spring or something in shifter bar, I'm told can be repaired in car. Glass is all good, windows work, door latches work good. interior is fair, needs some tlc. Body straight, except for crunched left fr fender, needs side mirrors, I found a set of original tie downs for box, included. Electrical lighting: needs park/headlight switch repair/replaced, wipers/signals appear to work, brakes in rear need attention, low fluid in rear reservoir. tires hold air but worn, one rim is dented LF. heater control isn't connected??? Clutch worked ok. tailgate works. Spare tire included. No jack. Some research shows some new and used parts are available, sometimes you need to look for mazda B series pickups, that's basically what they are with some different options/trim thru ford in these years. Nearly the same as a Mazda B1800. Great little trucks when up and running, I drove my father's Courier a lot. Project Truck sold as is, feel free to ask, will try to answer asap. will add more photos when weather clears.I prefer a feedback score of 10+, but will consider new members. I reserve the right to cancel bids.
