Description

1972 Ford Econoline E100 Shorty No Window Van

94k original miles on frame body

3k miles on new motor.

I am the 3rd owner. This van was originally purchased new in Boston, Massachusetts and was used as a promotional vehicle. It was stored inside 100% of the time. (Zero Rust) The original lettering is still visible on the side panels and back doors (Morrows Aluminum Co. Windows & Doors). The second owner brought it to Iowa where it was stored for years and never driven. I purchased it in 2017 and shipped it to CA.

The body is sold with zero rust and extremely straight for its age not to mention all original paint with the exception of the hood.

Inside is original low-back seats, doghouse and immaculate dash. All knobs, dash lights, dome lights and features work including wipers, signals, heater etc.

It has brown long shag carpet (not original) throughout to match. Mounted to the passenger seat is a power inverter for plugging in radios, electric blankets, phones etc.

New weather stripping on the front doors. New heater core and hoses. No cracked glass anywhere.

The engine is an Electronic Fuel Injected Ford 5.0 HO 306. Built by L&R engines in Santa Fe Springs, CA (Built all the motors for the tv show Overhaulin with Chip Foose). This is a roller motor (roller cam, lifters and Crane roller rocker arms). 3 bar GT40 heads w/brand new springs, valves and seals, ARP head bolts, port/polished decked etc.

Everything is new on/in the engine. (Wiring harness, computer, pistons, king bearings, all sensors, connectors, MAS, Hooker headers, pro 50oz balancer, water pump, short serpentine belt system, 1 wire Alternator, steering box, rag joint, dual exhaust w/Porter mufflers, KYB shocks, brakes, wheel cylinders, Ignition switch,

To fit inside the stock dog house the upper intake had to be sectioned and milled down w/custom intake system.

Trans has been updated to Ford AOD Automatic OVERDRIVE with shortened driveshaft.

Like new AR slotted mags and BFG tires (big & littles)

This no window shorty is definitely one of a kind, with its coast to coast story. Its extremely reliable and efficient with a modern engine, transmission and drive train (18+mpg). Take it to the beach or take it across countey, a lot of work has been put into this van and it runs like a modern vehicle with these upgrades. Always a head turner and most importantly super fun to drive.

Not responsible for shipping. I have the right to end aucion early. Vehicle is for sale locally. Message with any and all questions before bidding.
