Description

Rare uncut 1966 Ford Bronco 289 V8 3 speed on the column. Original Drive Train including Carburetor, Distributor, Exhaust manifold, Air Cleaner and Front and Rear differentials with 4:11 gears. The original AM radio is still in the dash and is still in working order. This Bronco was sold new in Salt Lake City in 1966. I bought this Bronco in July of 2015 from a gentlemen in Summit County Utah where he had stored it in his barn since buying it in 1987 . It spent its life being used on a ranch and for hunting purposes since new. This accounts for its low mileage and overall rust free condition. I was told that it had been repainted once in the 70's in its original color poppy red. The Bronco starts easily since we removed and cleaned the fuel tank and replaced the sending unit and fuel pump with a factory correct dual action pump. The carburetor has been rebuilt as well as new wheel cylinders and brake shoes as necessary including hardware. I also replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor but kept the original cap and plugwires because I think they are the OEM as installed FOMOCO parts. This Bronco is not a daily driver but would make an excellent restoration candidate for someone interested in a first generation first year of production V8 powered Bronco. The frame has a slight bend on the right front behind the radius arm but I was told that this is a very common issue with early Bronco's and would be easy to repair. Please ask any questions that you need answered before bidding or make arrangements to see the vehicle in person. Buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses.
Thank You for taking the time to look at my piece of Bronco History!
