Description

You are bidding on a very nice 1923 Model T Roadster. This car has been fully restored roughly 15 years ago. The car was purchased new in Texas, the family always stored it indoors, I am the third owner. The previous owner did the restoration. There is NO rust on this car, you will not find a single spot of bondo on this car anywhere. The entire frame is original steel, and there are no dents or dings, and like I said, no rust whatsoever. Tires are in good shape with lots of tread left. Leather seat is in just about perfect shape, and so is the canvas top which like I said is probably about 15 years old. The guy who did this restoration didn't cut corners. It has a brand new radiator in it from Snyders, works perfect doesn't leak a drop. All wood pieces on the car are new, none of the original old wood was used in the restoration. The underbody of this car is just as nice as the rest of the car. New (correct) wooden fire wall. Window glass is perfect, no chips or cracks. Very, very nice good quality, smoothpaint job on this car! Horn works, as well as the original headlights. It has a brand new Snyders replacement alternator on it for a much more reliable car, that is the only non original part, the rest of the car is stock. The car is still on the 6 volt system. In the trunk, there is the correct Model T jack, tire pump, heater and a brand new never used Snyders aluminum water pump if the new owner decides to put it on, there is no need for a water pump on this car, but it wouldn't hurt anything to add it anyway. The body on this car is straight as can be, everything fits and closes nicely. Has the spare tire mounted on the back. Car runs great on the magneto as well, start it on the coils and switch it to magneto, it works great. This car was restored by a Model T man, who was a long time member of the Model T Ford collectors club. His plaque is still on the car under the dash. The car smokes very slightly when you start it up, but after you get down the road a mile or so it clears right up. Model T's don't have oil rings, so a little smoke is very normal, like I said it clears up. Great compression when you turn it over with the hand crank. This car is ready for the car shows this summer. I can just about promise this car will get more smiles and look, than any other car at the car shows today. I have faith this Model T will sell quite well, so it is being offered at NO RESERVE, bid to win, somebody will own this great car! Feel free to ask questions!
