1962 Ford Econoline Five Window Pickup
Description
This is a cool and very hard to find truck! It is a 1962 Ford Econoline 5 Window that is extremely solid. It is a lifelong California truck that has allowed it to stay almost rust free after 50+ years. The body is very straight. It does have some bubbling on the paint and the clear coat is coming off. These issues are due to the paint prep and job, they are certainly not structural. I'm trying to be as upfront and honest as I can, so you'll be happy with your purchase. Honestly the paint job looks better in the photos than up close. The big white strips down the side are a reflection of the stripping on the parking lot. It has front and back chrome bumpers that are in great shape. The bed is solid. The truck drives well, the clutch appears good and the brakes work as they should. The interior floors look good with a little surface rust. The seats are original but have been redone in cloth which needs to go. It needs a carpet kit.Factory padded dash and excellent original Econoline steering wheel and horn ring. Factory gauge cluster, the fuel gauge works. This truck has the weight in the back which is very important! The tailgate is in good condition and if you've ever tried to find one you know how difficult that is! These trucks are so easy to work on and parts are easy to get. (Except the tailgate and this one has it). This is an opportunity to own a great cool vintage pickup that nobody has at the car show. Inspections are encouraged. Its in storage and headed to a collector in Maine if it doesn't sell.I can help with transportation either getting it loaded on a truck or assisting you however I can at the buyers expense. Inspections are encouraged. $1000.00 non refundable deposit due at auction end and the remaining balance due within three working days.
