This 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Sunliner is a classic custom cruiser with a big V8, four-on-the-floor, and plenty of old-school flair... and all offered at quite a nice price. Pop the hood and you'll see the callouts on the fenders were not lying. The big 390 cubic-inch V8 fills the engine bay with big blue oval muscle. This is a Z-code car, so the displacement is quite correct for this one. And it looks correct, right down to the golden Thunderbird valve covers, so this is believed to be the original motor. With a four-barrel carburetor, the V8 really lets this Galaxie Sunliner run the boulevard effortlessly. Even the dual exhaust makes a powerful sound without losing this car's cruising attitude. But any time you want to really let that big motor growl, the four-speed manual is a rarely-seen feature that really lets you enjoy this Ford to the fullest.
