I'm advertising this beautiful '57 Ford for a client & friend of mine in Sacramento, California. I have inspected this car, photographed and videoed it. We are wanting this great old Fairlane to go to a good home where it can be driven, shown, and enjoyed more than he is able to!

The body panels are straight down both sides as is the hood, roof, and deck lid. This is a good looking old Ford for sure. It also runs and drives very good.

The exterior displays a very good driver quality finish. With a professional polished and wax, this car could be taken to the next level. The brightwork shows well. The bumpers are in good condition front to back. Note how straight the body trim / molding lines up along with the doors, hood and trunk. The gold inlay is in beautiful condition as is the molding. Chromed reverse wheels are fitted with whitewall radial tires.

Open the doors to 1957.

The dash displays original instruments along with the working original radio. The temperature gauge and the fuel gauge are working. A Sun pro tachometer is mounted under the dash and is functional as well. Be sure to play our video. Also, the door panels show very well left and right.

The seat upholstery is done in white vinyl with black cloth inserts front to back. The headliner is in good condition. The dome light is working. The door panels show well. The door undersides are solid.

Under the hood is the factory-optioned 292 Y-Block V8 engine. This is a good running motor and the 3-speed transmission shifts through the gears as it should. This previously rebuilt V8 doesn't smoke and wears the correct breather assembly and valve covers. The clutch and brakes feel good. This is also a good steering old car. I enjoyed driving it. Again, play that video folks.

This is a true Raven black car Fairlane 500 two-door hardtop assembled in Dallas, Texas, ordered with the 292 206HP 2bbl. V8 in front of the 3-speed manual transmission. It left the factory with Colonial White vinyl interior. The car is currently stored indoors at a private residence in Sacramento, California and available for inspection by appointment only. The heater works great. The firewall, inner fender and core support steel is original and in excellent condition. This is a dry climate Ford and it shows.

The undercarriage is really exceptional. The original flooring and floor braces are intact front to back. There are only a few minor pan rust areas I took close up photos of, see below. This car is dry climate solid throughout. The rockers are also in excellent condition. This is a very solid old Ford underneath.
