This 1964 Thunderbird Hardtop is an all-stock "correct" car. The color is Rose Beige with a matching, flawless Rose Beige vinyl interior.
It was sold new in Cortland, New York, just 40 miles from here, and was not driven out of that city until 2012. The original owner was a friend and business associate of my father. The odometer shows less than 10,000 miles and while I guarantee nothing, I believe that to be correct.The only modern feature is the new set of radial whitewall tires. The carpeting is new, in the correct original color; this was done to freshen the appearance, the original carpet had faded from age.
There are no modifications to change its appearance or performance. It is as close to a "factory correct" 1964 Thunderbird as you are likely to find. The "Safety Convenience Control Panel" option is fully operational with vacuum door locks, low fuel light, door ajar light, and 4-way flasher. The trunk is in very good, clean, unmodified, and proper condition. It does not have a power seat, and it does not have air conditioning.
What it needs: under the rear seat frame the window wiring is stripped. It needs new shocks in back (they're a bit noisy).
You get the factory invoice, the factory build sheet, the original owner's manual, the original ownercard, and a set of burgundy OEM Ford floor mats specific to this car. This is an honest, straight car. It has not been touched up or fooled with, you won't get any surprises.It would make a great choice for a buyer who is not in North America since it really needs no special parts or mechanical work.

Please note: this car is registered in my name in New York, and it comes with a transferable registration. NYS does not title cars 1972 or older. I have owned it since 2013. Also note the pictures show the car with 2 different license plates. I have registered this car with my initial plates and year-of-manufacture plates, the S-2922 is currently on the car, chosen because it was originally issued in my county.
