Rare Sears Roebuck Short Bed Utility Truck
Description
Rare 1970 Ford F100 Short bed Sears Roebuck utility truck. This is a actual “barn find”. Pulled from a barn in north Texas months back. The truck was originally a Sears Roebuck service truck, as you can still see the decals on the doors. It’s equipped with a Tommy gate on the rear as well, not sure of working condition, I’m sure it will need attention. The truck is loaded with service tools throughout the bedsides. It was originally white, but painted aqua many years back. Has awesome patina and no rust at all. Cab corners, drip rails, floorboards, and lower fenders are all solid. There are a few minor dents on the hood, but nothing that takes away from the character of the truck. Previous owner attempted to convert it from 3 speed on the column to a automatic. The truck has sat up for over 20 years. It would make a perfect candidate for a chassis swap and a coyote, that was my plan but I have other projects going on at the moment. I’ve owned many of these trucks, and have yet to run across a Short Bed Utility truck, they don’t exist. You will not find another one that’s rust free with this patina. The truck would need to be completely gone through to be road worthy. Feel free to contact me for honest answers at 8326612453. Absolutely no trades, full payment due within 24 hours, sold AS IS. Buyer responsible for shipping. I reserve the right to end auction at anytime, truck is for sale locally. Come look at the truck, you will not be disappointed.
