Description

Long time owner passed away in 2014. The car has been sitting in it's garage with a cover for the last 5 years. Ready for a new owner and the next phase of it's life. Looks like a time warp ! Such a typical 70's hot rod ! To me it would be perfect with a stock shifter and a set of stock Magnum 500 wheels. The body is nice and does not seem to have any filler I can see or feel. Fender bottoms have a nice ring to them, Door bottom seams are clean and straight. Even the 1/4 panels look and feel rock solid. No filler anywhere around the wheel wells or bottom edge. looking down the sides the body is straight and not wavy. I'm sure the paint is old and has small defects. Good storage has kept a nice shine to her. No paint fading, scratches or damage. We found the keys, flushed the gas and put in a new battery. Car would not turn over..or do anything. Finally we just hooked up a jumper wire to the solenoid, ..started right up. I haven't had time time spend on it. My friend thinks it has a kill switch some where. That makes a lot of sense for security reasons. We are not going to drive it, there are no plates or insurance anymore. It does shift gears and moves around freely. It's probably a #3 car . Also it has the rally dash with tach and air conditioning. A/c parts removed. What does it need ??? Somebody who's handy and has a few bucks to bring her back to life. To me the worst is the interior ! What has to be a home grown job of patching the seat bottoms. Looks like he just cut a hunk of vinyl and glued it to the seat bottoms ! backs are ok. Rugs should go, head liner has a sag. back seat ok. back panels have holes for stereo stuff. [ala 70's] door panels are fair, and if your not real fussy could probably be adjusted and used. Same with the dash pad, has small crack, keep or toss. Also, it looks like he was replacing some trim. The trim pieces around the windshield and rear window are missing. also the trim pieces at the end of the windows are off, in the door jam. The spare tire, jack and mat are missing. At this time we are selling exactly what you see. If any of these [or other] parts are found we will keep them with the car for you.
