Description

Up for sale is my 1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback. The original351 Cleveland was originally a 2V engine that was upgraded with a new Eldebrock aluminum 4V Manifold and new 4V Carburetor. These were added by the previous owner when he had the engine rebuilt. I believe I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle as the prior owner told me that they bought if from the original owner. I do have the original manual and some other paperwork with the original warranty/owners card. The buyer can have the original cast iron manifold and carburetor as well.

Yes, there are a lot of 1973 Mach 1s out there but this is one of the most heavily optioned 1973 Mustangs I have ever seen. I have the original dealer invoice and Marti Report for this car and they show a base Mach 1 MSRP of $3,003.00 and then $1,627.63 in options. The final MSRP increased by over 50% to $4742.63.These upgrades include the standard Mach 1 basic upgrades plus the following options:

The interior was originally white but the prior owner had already supplied me with many of the new black interior parts so it got finished off in black and looks fantastic. The interior includes a new headliner, new seat covers, new dash pad, new deluxe door panels, rebuilt console with working original ticking clock, rebuilt original AM/FM stereo radio, rebuilt/cleaned gauges and good set of original seat belts and shoulder harnesses.Everything looks great and works just as well!

Under the hood has been cleaned up and detailed. As I mentioned above the prior owner had the engine rebuilt and blueprinted he also said he had the FMX transmission done.It runs great and will burn rubber on demand.

I had a new brake dual master cylinder installed as well as all new brake lines including the 3 flexible lines.New brake pads and shoes all the way around.

The vehicle was stripped down to bare metal and repainted the original Bright Red color. It came out very nice and looks terrific. The vintage rims and tires are in good shape and look great as well. The air conditioner parts are all there and on the car but it doesn't work, I think it needs a charge of Freon. I haveneverbothered to have that looked at since I don't drive the vehicle much. Garage kept and only comes out on a nice sunny day. Hasn't been wet since Ibought it 5or 6 years ago.

It is a solid smooth running vehicle and a lot of fun to drive.
