Description

1963 Ford Falcon Futura Convertible - CLASSIC. Condition is Used. Local pickup only.now re-listed with no reserve!
Awesome patina! Don't let looks fool you the 170 straight 6 and 2 speed auto are silky smooth. Starts 100% and no smoke. Carburetor was rebuilt and a new gas tank was installed. Also a new slim muffler was installed to accommodate new tank safely. Brakes were recently done and are rock solid. E-brake works too! Front end recent as well, no squeaks or trouble. All lights work except tiny back up lamps. Horn is loud and clear from a button on steering column. Guages work except the odometer is stuck. As seen in the photos, the car needs a new top, but the hardware is all there and the old top goes up and down well. Windows are a bit fussy but also go up and down. The floors were done before I purchased the car (in 1995). They remain very solid as carpets were never installed. Trunk, rockers, frame rails, remain solid and good. Doors open and close easily. There is a tiny bit of rot at the front of the passenger door. No bondo fixes anywhere! I replaced the front seat and installed a fox craft custom made interior. Alas, the lower front seat cover was damaged and it now has just an inexpensive removable cover. Springs and padding beneath remain great for a convertible this age. Door panels were made by me and are wrecked. Rear seat armrests and guards are included as is passenger sun visor They are covered in original black vinyl with little damage. Tires are new no wear at all. Chrome is not perfect but 90% complete. Restore or what a rat-rod possibility! This car fits most parts for 64-65 Mustang. You will need to apply for a new title, as the old one has a typo (a "v" instead of the "u") but is otherwise clear. The registration VIN is correct, as the bill of sale will be. I have preserved and driven this car for a long time. Happy bidding!
