Description

NO RESERVE - SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.
Up for sale is a 1965 Mustang. I am selling this for my mother in law. Here are the details: This car was purchased new July 9, 1965 by my in-laws. It has not been on the road since 1986. The car has been covered up and protected from the elements during this time. It will need a complete restoration, however it is a very straight, solid car and a good candidate for restoration. It DOES NOT have a motor. (It originally had a 289 V-8) It has disc brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear. The 4 original hubcaps are also included (pic only shows 1) There are also several original parts, as well as a trunk full of additional parts (too many to list) Warranty Number: 5T07C182909...Body: 65A, Color: M, Trim: 22, Date: 28T, D.S.O.: 25, Axle: 6, Trans: 6 This is an early model production of the 1965 mustang. There are a few features that I will point out that make it unique (some 1964.5 parts were used) 1.) Does not have back up lights. 2.) Hood bumpers have recessed phillips screw to hold bumper to stud. 3.) Gas cap has no security cable. 4.) Tail light harness is 2 wire instead of 3 wire. 5.) Smaller door arm rests than found on 65 models. 6.) Smaller automatic transmission T-handle. 7.) Tail light bezel is not painted black between 3 red lenses 8.) Hood does not have trim piece on edge - it is folded over with a factory crease. There may be others unique features, but this was what I was able to discover without spending days searching the internet. The car has a clean, clear N.C. title that can be notarized and mailed to you, or it can be shipped with the car upon pick-up.Buying AS IS, WHERE IS. You are responsible for loading and hauling it away.If you have additional questions, feel free to call me: two five two, seven one four, three six four five. The buyer will be responsible for loading and shipping from Fountain N.C. 27829.
