The car was sold new at Graham Ford Inc. of Converse Indiana equipped with the following factory options: 302 V8 engine, Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes with front disc's, tilt steering wheel, AM Radio, power top with glass backlite, Knitted vinyl seat trim, Molded door trim panels, High back bucket seats, Rocker and Wheel lip moldings, Deluxe two spoke steering wheel, and color... keyed racing mirrors. The car was built in Dearborn and came off the assembly line April 19, 1972. Today, the car has been restored to largely to its original spec. The exterior features excellent panel fit and the Candy Apple Red exterior paint is smooth, flat and glossy, the interior is excellent with the radio being upgraded to a factory am/fm set up, newer carper, custom fabricated center console, auto meter gauges and the factory wheel remains. Under the hood houses its professionally prepared 302 and very healthy 302 V8 with aluminum valve covers, open element air cleaner, polished alternator, new hoses, wires and an upgraded aluminum radiator to ensure proper cooling. The bottom of the car remains original and untouched, the frame rails and original floors are excellent. All this is riding on Classic Cragar chrome wheels. Mechanically this 72 Mustang is excellent. The car fires right up, has a great sound, pull strong in every gear, and the suspension, steering and braking work excellent together. The car can be driven and enjoyed with confidence. These early 1970's Mustang Convertibles are on the rise and the style, speed and significance of these cars keep adding fuel to the demand.
