Description
This is a 1950 Ford Roadster which has been chopped and sectioned. As you can see from the photos, it is mid-restoration and rust free. The car was originally purchased by my Father while he was in military training. My father did the original modifications to the car when he returned home to Portland. The car was eventually sold. My Mother tracked the car down about 10 years ago and was in the process of having it restored. She passed away before the restoration was complete. The vehicle was being restored by Brian and Sandy Parker in Portland, OR.
We have a file showing over $70,000 in parts and labor so far in this build plus we have a receipt for $9,700 from when my mother purchased this car and a parts car (VIN B0RH125272 and VIN B0KC127672) The car was in rough shape whenshe found it so a lot of that money was put into body work but many other items are already completed for the next owner, including but not limited to: Engine Dismantle/Rebuild/Paint, Clutch/Transmission Rebuild, Restore Chrome, Brake Rebuild, Steering Box Rebuild, Heater Restoration, Prep/Paint Headers, Lots of restoration/replica parts, extensive chassis restoration, restored gauges, many new and restored parts, new interior carpet, vinyl, and top material included, and much more! We have 36 pages of invoices and can email you a pdf if you would like. You can also view them on Dropbox at https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2frallk4mbfeo0d/AAAGB4xrOYVNwNOrTaCyjOL1a?dl=0
The engine is the original flat-head V-8. It's a 3-speed manual transmission on column. The door handles have been shaved, and they are fitted with electric door poppers. There is a remote open for the trunk. We have the original front and back seat frames. The front seat frame has been restored. The radiator has been reconditioned. The dash, column, steering wheel, interior windshield and interior door panel caps have been restored and painted. The front and rear bumpers, bumper filler and grill assembly have been restored and re-chromed. The gauges have been restored. A new Bob Drake gas tank was purchased.
There has obviously been a lot of money put into this restoration. Unfortunately I do not have the experience or time to complete this project. I will try and include as many photos and details I can so you know exactly what to expect. If it's not on the list of parts belowor in the photos...then it's not included with the sale. Please view all photos and list items below before bidding. Ebay will only allow 24 photos per listing so I have set up an online Photobucket account so you can view all 140+ Photos!
List of items included (A friend helped me put this list together so forgive me if any of my terminology is incorrect and please note that the list is not in any particular order and doesn't include items already attached to the car....again please see photos for details)

A friend helped me inventory and photograph the vehicle and write this description but I will certainly do my best to answer questions. FYI: Someone had asked me how the top works now that it's chopped. While it is still a "rag top" the top frame is now bolted to the car and no longer folds down and thus must be removed/installed as if it were a hardtop convertible.
A photo of my Father with the vehicle is included with the photos so you can see what it looks like back in the 50's. Thank you for your interest!
