1974 Ford F 100 LWB Fleetside starting bid $5.00 offered by Gas Monkey Garage with . .Ford introduced the F series of truck in 1948 and Americans have been in love with them ever since making them the #1 selling truck in North America (for 24 years the F series was the #1 selling vehicle in the U.S.!) We acquired this fairly straight, solid example built at the Kansas City Truck plant in early 1974 in with a lot of other cars and trucks. The VIN indicates it was a 390 V8, however the hood release is broken so I can’t tell you what is under the hood (if anything) so please bid accordingly. The truck bed is in good original condition with minimal rust and normal dents, wear and tear (please see pics). The door hinges are tight & solid, the floor is solid as are the cab corners. Underside pics reveal solid frame, floor, bed & suspension components with minimal superficial rust present on most components (see all pics). The interior is fairly complete needing a good cleaning and some TLC before getting back behind the wheel of this Classic Iconic American pickup Truck. This truck does not run and will need to be serviced completely before attempting to start again after all these years to ensure reliability and safety due to unknown service history (and due to our filming schedule, we can’t service this truck prior to delivery) Sold as is/where is! You will need a trailer or flatbed wrecker to remove it!
