1970 Mustang convertible Barn find
Description
I have a 1970 mustang convertible barn find car has been off the road sense 2002 I have been told, I have not owned the car long I took it as a partial trade. Let me tell you what I have done We put plugs, cap rotor, fuel pump and had the carburetor rebuilt by a carb shop to get it to fire up (it will run off of a gas can the fuel tank needs to be cleaned still) to confirm the motor runs that is as far as I have gotten. I am not a mustang guy so please be specific in your questions. The car is a desirable color of black with the red interior, windows are manual, lights work wipers work. All the locks are new as the keys were lost. Car is solid but a project I have been told it was restored before it sat for all of those years and I would say that is accurate. The interior will clean up nice there is some splitting on the drivers seat but otherwise interior is nice door panels are clean as well as dash and console. Body has some surface rust on the overall body with minimal rot passenger rear quarter panel at the body of the front fenders and a little on the doors. the trunk is solid has a spare in it and even has the tire cover and floor covering. Please feel free to see the mustang it is a great start to a high dollar car when finished, I just started a 1967 camaro restoration and cannot do both so my loss is your gain. The motor looks all original and I was told the cylinders were oiled before storage she fired wright up once we got fuel to her and runs clean it has only been test run for a short time as I want to get further into the mustang belts hoses, antifreeze all need to be changed. There is no battery in the mustang but i do have one to confirm ability to fire the car up for the buyer. tires are old but hold air there are hubcaps on all four wheels,
please let me know any questions you have.
Please come see the vehicle located on Long Island New York zip 11961
Thanks and happy bidding
