Description

I have a 1940 Ford Pickup "rat rod" nicknamed the "Texaco Truck" The truck is on 1940 Ford frame, channeled, original suspension, brakes, ect. Has late model 8BA Flathead with rebuilt carb, new plugs, new wires, new cap, new rotor, new points, new condenser, new coil. The brakes were gone thru as well with new master cylinder, new lines, new wheel hoses, new wheel cylinders, new shoes. The truck has an electric fan, cab lights on top that are functional, headlight bulbs are broken, I have left them that way for the look and dont drive the truck in the dark. The exhaust is straight piped and dumps under the cab, so currently the stacks are just for show until the exhaust is ran to them. The body drop (channel) is a large drop, so on tight turns the tires rub. I have taken the truck to many shows, won trophies, gotten countless compliments and pictures taken. We generally trailer the truck to shows given its cheaper than driving multiple vehicles (family) so the extent of driving the truck has been 30-40 min at a time. Truck does have 1940 Ford title, clean, clear, in my name ready to go.
I never intended on selling it, but my dream car has come up at a price that is plausible for me to buy if I sell this, so here it is. No reserve, highest bid takes my baby, "Texaco Truck"
