Converted ELECTRIC Vehicle
Description
1993 Ford Escort station wagon converted to electric vehicle, new rear suspension, all gasoline parts removed, rebuilt brakes, steering, new tires. EV driven for 1 year - only 5000 miles (motor, tires, etc). Monthly electric charging was about $10 per month. Must have new battery pack.
Gasoline mileage cost is quivalent to less than 3 cents a mile!
With a gallon of gas at $2.50 per gallon on a vehicle getting 30 mpg, the cost is more than 8 cents per mile and with an energy source that is more subject to increase and contributing significantly to global warming.
