Description

This is the last of my Mustang Collection from the 1980s to early 1990s. This is a very complete 1967 S code 390 convertible. The 390 is a lot of engine for one of these cars, tons of torque and very easy to break the tires loose. These cars are very fun to drive.
I have receipts back to 1983. Per the receipts the engine was rebuilt in 1985 with "074,737 miles". Current odometer = ~032,000 miles. Car has been garaged since 1991 when I purchased it from the previous owner who drove it out here from the east coast. Took minimal work to freshen up the breaks and get the car running. Runs and drives well.
It needs the 4 barrel Holley carburetor and correct air cleaner to be complete. Has the correct intake, engine, heads, exhaust manifolds, radiator. I have 2 clutch fans in the trunk but at least one of the clutches is bad. I have the deluxe door panels in reasonable condition.
The car is an east coast car and has some rust in the quarter panels and doors, cowls, and floor boards. There is some damage to the front right fender. The trunk seems to be in good shape, some sheet metal has been used to repair the floor boards. The car is currently painted the correct color, Brittany Blue. Top needs replaced, has a couple of small holes and the back plastic window is cracked and brittle. Power top works.
As you can see from the Marti Report this is a rare non-GT 390 convertible with drum brakes. This is a great opportunity to own a rare big block convertible. Only 4,848 deluxe interior convertibles were made. Only 2075 convertibles with a 390 and automatic transmission were made. This is out of 472,121 Mustangs produced in 1967.
As you can see from the pictures this is a good looking car. It would look amazing to restored to it's original state or modified to a shelby or eleanor clone.
I'm having Trouble getting the Marti Report uploaded from my email so I'm typing it in here. Hopefully I'll get it uploaded this week.
