CELEBRATING 50 YEARS of Bumpside Ford trucks!- 1967 Ford F-250 -352cid V-8Steel grille and gauge bezel
Up forno reserveauction, this farm-fresh '67 F-250. Manufactured in April of '67, this pickup is titled in Nevada, where it has spent the majority of it's life. However the last 12 years or so have been spent on asouthernIdaho homestead, off-grid home of a retired USMC veteran. We'll quickly detail you with the specifics..
While very straight and rust free externally, there is some cancer to be found underneath. See the photos for details. Mostly cosmetic issues, that could be resolved withrelative creativity.
I specialize in locating 1967-1972 Ford pickups here in southern Idaho, as well as neighboring dry climate states including Eastern Washington/Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Wyoming. I give them some tender loving care, and then bring them to a national market where you can find an affordable dry-climate rig.
Usually I'll spend more time with a pickup than I have with this '67. There's so many directions that this old truck could go.. immediate farm use, full restoration.. ?? I'm content to just present it AS IS. I drove it 50+ miles off the mountain, gave it a bath, and am presenting it to you. Turn-key ready to drive on a trailer.
I am familiar with shipping these trucks all across the USA, coast to coast. I can assist in locating a reputable carrier for your transport, and thus I encourage long distance bidders. Iwill personally see that your questions and inquiries result in a satisfying purchase!I'll make every effort to take extra photos, or respond to any and all questions. So don't hesitate toinquire before bidding
!!
This truck was originally equipped with this 352 cid v-8 with
2v Autolite Carb, driving a New Process 435 Heavy Duty 4 Speed transmission, and a Dana 60 rear end. '67 Would be the last year of the 352 in pickups, as it was replaced with the 360 V-8 in '68.
In fact there are numerous differences between the '67, and the 68-72 era Ford pickups. You'll notice when you look closely! My personal favorite is the big steel grille, offered on the 67 base models. An item that's getting hard to find, and this one is perfect.
This truck is quite unmolested, with exception of speakers and paint. It's been a farm-truck. Acidity from the cow-pies whichacquiredunderneath is what has caused the rust - out in the locations detailed in the photos. This truck hasn't been exposed to wet-climate regions.
Lets look at theGOODand theBAD!
the GOOD- Mostly original inside and out.
- Great curb appeal.
- True dual fuel tanks!
- Comfortable seat!
- Not chopped up!
- Ready to drive as-is, or restore!
- Grille is in outstanding condition.
- Engine runs smooth, no noises or smoke. No leaks.
- Transmission shifts perfectly.
Though I only have about 50+ miles on this truck, I have come to appreciate how sweet of a combination the smooth running 352 v-8 is with that quick shifting and solid NP435 tranny. It does run good. I rebuilt the carb, gave her a little tune up, and it's been firing up on the first start every time. I love the unique qualities of the '67, and wouldn't hesitate driving this on a regular basis, or tearing it down for a full blown restoration, which it really deserves.the BAD- Rusty cab underneath. (see photos)
- Drivers side door handle mechanism needs replaced.
- Small rust hole at the front of the bed. (see photo)
- Needs brake booster and master cylinder. (vacuum leaking through)
- Been repainted, paint is poor.
- Dash pad is cracked
- Windshieldis cracked, and gasket needs replaced.
- Tires - Starting to weather check side walls. Tread fair.
It would be heartbreaking for the above items to send this old '67 to the graveyard, or suffer it to be parted out. From my best judgement, the truck was re-painted around 20 years ago. Probably from home! It's not super attractive. I'll let you study the photos. Original color was FrostTurquoise. This truck, with minor TLC, could be usedimmediatelyon the Ranch once more. But It really is begging for the love all '67's crave! I'm offering this at a lower price point in lieu of the above items. Get her while she's hot!
I strive to make every effort to present a straight forward and honest sale. There are certainly flaws, as there will be with most of these as-is trucks. Please see my previous classic Ford pickup sales this year, and my feedback rating. I'm not happy unless you are happy!
-- NOTE --Most shipping quotes on this pickup are similar. From Here in Boise, to just about anyplace in the lower 48 states, it will ship between $800-$1200, fully insured. I will do my best to assist you in finding a reputable carrier, and have become friends with several drivers. We can get it to yousecurely!
