1976 Ford Pinto Pony Sedan 2-Door 2.8L Rust Free
Description
I bought this sweet little pony three years ago from the state of Idaho with plans of putting a 302 under the hood and a five speed stick, however I ended up buying one all ready done that way. Probably just as well I have a lifetime of projects as it is.This old girl is about as rust free as you could find.Runs and drives down the road good. With a tune up and good inspection it could be your daily driver. All the lights work except the reverse light. Windshield wipers do not work,I believe its in the switch,Auto Krafters has them for 39 bucks. Didn't look at tires real close assume you will need new ones. They hold air however. Power brakes work fine but would certainly include them in your inspection. Motor fires right up at the touch of the key, its a V 6, don't know much about them, I would assume it is the original engine. Mileage reads just under 7600 not sure if that correct .The interior of the car is decent however as you can see from the photos the seats are coming apart at the seams and the dash has cracks from the sun.Carpet is so so, might be able to get away with a good cleaning, not worn to bad. The rest of the dash is goo, fan and radio also work. The sheet metal is real nice for a 40 year old car, no rust at all except where the paint is chipped. There are a couple little dents across the back in rear corners,SEE PHOTOS. Two little dents on top of fenders next to hood hinges, looks like the wind might of caught the hood when it was left open, SEE PHOTOS. Some idiot set something on the roof that left a mark and caused a little rust ring, nothing serious though SEE PHOTOS.The underside of this car unbelievably clean and solid. Sorry I had to relist this ca, the reserve didn't go trough on the first listing.
