Description

This 1967 Ford Bronco has been reborn ... but with a little better of everything this time. We started this frame off build about 16 months ago, and she's finally finished. I have full documentation of this build from start to finish and am happy to share it with any interested parties.
Here's how she was done.
  • Body:
This truck came out of Big Timber, MT and was in excellent condition before the restoration started. The body was completely dismantled and removed from the frame. All parts and pieces were sand blasted. Front floor pans, both inner fenders, hood and both rear lower corners were replaced. The rest of the body is original sheetmetal. Rebuilt steering column and new shift bushings. It has a new wiring harness, heater core, switches in cabin, RetroSound radio, kick panel pods on both sides with 5 1/4 Sony Explode speakers, custom rear quarter panels with 6x9 Sony Explode speakers and a Kicker subwoofer in the rear that can be moved if needed (it is not permanently mounted). It has a complete deluxe carpet kit, new carpet hold downs, new headliner, the seat frames were refinished in black and then new Bronco foams and houndstooth upholstery added with new hinge covers and seat backs. The interior is absolutely beautiful.
  • Frame:
The frame was also sand blasted and coated in chassis black, a much longer lasting application than powder coating, we have found.
  • Motor/Drivetrain:
New main bearings, rod bearings, oil pump, cam bearings, moderate camshaft, timing set, oil pan, dipstick, water pump, alternator, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points & condenser, Holley carb, air cleaner, valve covers, valve springs, keepers, valves, hardened seats, bored 0.30 over, new high compression pistons, Edelbrock intake (high rise), headers, aluminum radiator, complete dual exhaust that sounds beautiful, battery tray, battery, battery cables, fuel pump and fuel lines(front to back), brake master cylinder and brake lines, tank was boiled and lined, wiper washer bag and pump, over flow tank for radiator, complete power steering set up and all new belts and hoses. The motor runs like a top.
  • Rear end:
New ring and pinion, bearings, outer seals, brakes, drums, wheel studs and wheel cylinders. Rear axel is a Ford 9".
  • Front rear end:
New inner universal joints, brakes, outer seals, cleaned, inspected, resealed, upper king pin bearings, Warn lock out hubs, wheel cylinders and updated front driveshaft. Front axle is a Dana 44.
  • Transfer case:
Cleaned, inspected, resealed, updated front driveshaft yoke.
  • Body accessories:
New mirrors, door handles, antenna, all glass, emblems, blinker lenses front and rear, bumpers, headlight trim rings, 2 1/2" Tom's Bronco lift kit, shocks, body bushings, steering wheel, Tom's Bronco floor mats (not in pics), visors and brackets, rear hatch shocks, door straps and hardware, blinker rod, seat belts, pedal pads, headlights, tail light covers, all new weatherstripping and window seals, gaskets, etc. and windshield wipers. It has 5 new 17" Fuel Anza Anthracite wheels wrapped in 265/70/R17 Toyo Open Country M/T tires.
  • Paint:
The truck was dismantled for paint and then re-assembled to lay in the charcoal stripes on the sides and hood insert. It is Candy Apple Red with Daytona Gray Metallic accents.

eBay does not like it when I suggest trades for your early Porsche, C1/C2 Corvette or a newer sports car, so I'm not even going to mention it ;)
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!
