1929 FORD MODEL A Fordor Blindback SEDAN
Description
This Blindback 29 Fordor was used in the filming of the recent movie "Live By Night". It was used as the fire car set up by the special effects department. In the pictures you see the brown rust like coating they applied to make it look burned out. Also, they removed the top bowes and removed the door latches. The gas tank was disabled with two 4 inch holes drilled in the bottom of the gas tank. The seat bottom cushions are missing. And the engine and transmissionare out of the car. So, that is the bad. The good is, the car is pretty complete and original. There are beautiful fenders and fairly new tires. The body is very straight with decent enough paint to use if you cleaned it up. The steering wheelappears to be newer and the steering seems tight. I have a complete engine and transmission that I was told went will run that goes with the car, not sure of the condition but it probably will run. The chrome shell, bumpers and headlights are pretty nice. I have a clear California Title for this car. If you would like to get into the Model A Hobby and have a pretty nice car with minimal work to get it going here is your chance. THERE IS Very Little rust on this car. On Feb-01-17 at 14:23:19 PST, seller added the following information:2-1-17 A bit more information on the car. This is a project car. I am selling at a low price because it will need some definate work to make it a beautiful Model A. I believe the wood in the body is in solid shape but it could need some work. The doors seem to be a bit sprung, they probably just need some adjusting. This is a car that when completed will make a fine tour car. I just want to disclose everything I know about it. Study the pictures because what you see is what you get. Thanks
