Description

When was the last time you’ve seen a LS swap that is turbocharged for sale? Please disregard my for sale price and read below.I’m open to all offers for trade or cash purchase.

Let’s face it, most LS swaps are non-turbos from high mileage engines as the durability of these engines is well-known.This, however, IS NOT a typical LS Swap. The drivability of this car cannot be overstated – it is as mild-mannered as a four cylinder Mustang, but with one crack of the throttle can rip the doors off just about any car you will meet on the street (Yes GTR, Corvette, Porsche owners I’m talking to you). This is a turn-key vehicle and if it’s your first time in the LS swap game, the money and time have been spent – you will not find an easier car to drive, yet blistering fast when you want. Now for the hardcore LS enthusiasts, this car has the bones of a 5 second 1/8 mile car – it can handle a much larger turbo or NOS if that is your liking. In summary, the goal of this build was to have a car you can drive on the street to enjoy, yet run fast at the drag strip (6.8 second 1/8 mile on 11 pounds of boost). This build is the culmination of a TON OF MONEY AND TIME.It has been in my family for 4 years so we know every single bolt and upgrade that has been completed and has only ran 6 passes over its life.I will detail below:

BODY/INTERIOR:

We started with a rock solid Foxbody with zero rust issues. The color is a low production color – it is solid and straight – factory paint (except custom hood). There is some clear coat fading typical on this year model vehicle, but overall a good looking, solid exterior. The undercarriage has ZERO rust and looks factory new.The interior was freshened up with new seat foam, covers and carpet.Very nice interior (could use a headline one day). The car isn’t a show car, but overall good looking vehicle to start with.

Let’s move on to the good stuff!

ENGINE:

This LS swap was from a zero mileage GM remanufactured 2006 all-aluminum L33 – 5.3L engine (go price this green dot!).This engine is stamped & tagged on the block. The advantages of the all-aluminum L33 is stronger rods which are idle for higher boost and heads with larger valves.Of course new head studs and gaskets were installed.

TURBO:

Brian Tooley Racing stage II turbo cam, valve springs and pushrods.On3 76mm turbo, B.O.V and wastegate. This turbo allows for immediate spool with no lag whatsoever.Turbo Smart dual stage boost controller (currently set at 7 and 11 pounds) – this car can handle, but has NEVER seen boost above 11 pounds.

TRANSMISSOIN:

Professionally built 350 turbo with a T.C.I Street Fighter torque converter.2800-3200 stall and a B&M shifter with reverse lock-out.

FUEL:

Walbro 400 fuel pump in the tank to an Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator to 80 pound Bosch injectors.

TIRES:

New Bridgestone upfront and Mickey Thompson 235’s street ET’s on the rear wheels.

EXHAUST:

Full length exhaust ran out in front of the rear wheel for a quiet enjoyable crusing, but with the push of a button the electric cut out opens and the rumble can be heard.

REAR-END:

8.8” Ford with new Ford Motorsport 327 ring gear & pinon.Yukon Dura Grip posi unit and Strange C-Clip eliminators.

SUSPENSION:

QA1 caster camber plates. Lakewood 50/50 shocks up front, upper & lower rear control arms.Strange adjustable rear shocks.AJE tubular frond end with manual steering rack.

GAUGES:

Tachometer, air fuel, water temp, oil pressure, boost, factory alternator and factory fuel gauge.

TUNING:

This car was tuned in Chattanooga by LS Guru Sam Daffron from DRI Daffron Racing Innovations. He personally know all the details of this vehicle and piped the turbo himself.

OTHER:

No leaks of any kind – period.

This car needs nothing to be immediately enjoyed. It is extremely reliable and won’t require reoccurring work like many project cars out there. It was built right and all the bugs have been worked out.The car belonged to my brother-in-law which we ended up swapping for my 68 Camaro.I have the clean title in hand and the vehicle is located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

I’m looking to trade this vehicle – would I sell it outright?Sure, but I’m really more interested in trading.Don’t hesitate to text me offers – I like classics, 911s, 240s and modern vehicles.I can trade up (my car plus money) or down (your car plus money). The parts alone for this build would exceed $15,000 not including a dime for any labor.Ron (615) 775-4031
