1987 GMC Sierra 2500 in Maui, Hawai'i.

Description

1987 GMC Sierra 2500 square body. Had her 20+ years and really, really hate to see her go. Beat but runs fine and has been bullet proof. Cosmetically shot but shouldn't be a huge deal to bring it up to presentable. These square bodies have suddenly become pricey - for good reason - when in great looking condition. That ain't one of them. Mechanic's delight I suppose. Odometer stopped last month at 104K, so speedo is busted. Horn rewired but works. Has original engine and tranny with tranny rebulit about four years ago. Tail gate got lost. New Bench seat. New Starter. Driver's window mechanism is also shot, but window can be pulled up Maui style etc, Tires good, spare new. Cassette and radio don't work. AC is shot but defroster works. Turn signals and lights ok. Brakes are good. She drives for sure and is fast and smooth on smooth roads. Runs cool. It is what it is. Driven monthly round trip Kahului/Hana, so that tells you something. Last trip was two weeks ago. truck is in Hana, Maui.
