Description

I have this 1975 GMC Jimmy High Sierra K5 blazer truck here that I got in on trade on another vehicle I had. I have not plans to do anything with it, personally, so it is actively for sale.

I don't know a whole lot about it. I can tell you it runs pretty well, now that we swapped out a carburetor on it. I cant tell if the engine is a 350 or a 305, but either way it runs well and does not seem to leak or smoke or make any unusual noises.

The transmission is an automatic. It goes into forward and reverse smoothly andupshifts in the parking lot here.

The 4WD works, but I noticed the left front outer U-joint at the wheel needsto be replaced.

The driver's seat frame needs to be repaired.

The passenger side floorboard and rocker panel will need some work on it, or simply replace it. The drivers side seems to be good. The rear floors actually seem to be good. (Alabama truck)

Both doors have been replaced with clean used doors. The right fender will need work or replacement (parts are inexpensive). The left quarter panel has a little perforation over the wheel. The right quarter has a dent behind the wheel.

The back window rolls up and down and thegate seems to be good.

The top is removable all the way to the windshield and is in good condition.

This truck originally had A/C, but the compressor and brackets are missing.

The brakes work.

There is an exhaust system on it.

Most of the lights work as do the wipers, etc.

I know I have pointed out all the bad here, but this full convertible K5 is actually one of the better ones I have seen in years. Most of them have already turned back into dust.

The truck was originally a red metallic with white two tone.

The 33" tires are less than 20% tread

So.... don't buy it and expect to drive it home. Don't ask me if it will make it because I have no clue. Just plan to come and pick it up for all our sakes.

If you need it shipped, you will need to arrange all of that. I can help load it. There is a local trucking outfit that goes back an forth to MS every couple weeks, if you live that way.

This is an AS IS WHERE IS sale with no warranties implied whatsoever.

I expect a $250 deposit within 24 hours of close.

I expect payment in full within 7 days.

You can have a couple weeks to pick it up, if you need it, but the truck needs to be paid in full within the 7 day window.

No PayPal, except for the deposit.

Contact me to arrange payment, or bring cash within the 7 day window.

Don't come here and expectit to be brand new. My description is accurate.

Thank you.

Lots of people asked for more pictures, so I added some more for you. I'm telling you, the truck is really pretty solid. All the factory rubber floor mats are still there, so it's a little difficult to get good pictures. These things are usually rusted down to dust where the roll bar bolts in, and as you can see this was is still in original factory red paint there. If you want a solid foundation for the start of building a really nice one to keep, this is that foundation.
