Description

this really rare truck came into my possession from the original owner who drove it from California to colorado about 15 years ago. it was built in oakland calif. and spent most of its life there. the lady i acquired it from got to elderly to drive it and that's how it came into my possession. when i did the rstro on this truck i wanted to keep it as original as possible. so the only things i changed was to convert it to a 12 volt neg ground and install a one wire alternator, and battery disconnect switch. other than that its pretty much original. i had the zenith carb, the vacuum windshield wiper motor, the instrument gauges, and water pump sent back to the factories to be rebuilt or repaired . everything works on the truck. it has some of the wiring replaced, new exhaust system. new glass, door hinges, steering wheel, seat covers and all new oak flooring in the bed. i had the odometer zeroed out when i did the resto. at 580 miles i changed the oil and serviced it using valvoline vr1 racing oil. it currently has 780 miles on it. new tires were installed when it was resto'd including the spare. it has some extra chrome work and has a wind up clock, factory turn signals. the hood ornament comes with it but i never reinstalled it back on the truck. any questions about the truck call me at 9702092529. do not text me as i don't use that form of communications. leave a number and i will return your call. id # on plate attached to cab. 101-24-c-z5011. 10 means 1/2 ton, 1 means short box, 24 means 248 cu I6, c means oakland ca, z means 1954, and 5011 is the number off the assembly line.
