Custom built 14” lift

Brand new Pro Comp MT2s 40" tires and Pro Comp 17" wheels-Brand New. Over $2500.Currently registered, insured and driven daily.

Starting in the front:

Super lift 12” springs plus Barnes shackles, Barnes high cross over steering with a new two wheel drive power steering box, has Sky Offroad pan hard bar, Sky off road dual shock hoops, 14” off road design 7 layer stainless steel kevlar protected brake lines, off road design weld in frame strengthening power steering box support (frame was not cracked - preventative), front axle is a Dana 44 with flat top knuckles, new upper and lower ball joints, gear ratios 308.


Rear:

Rear axle is a 12 bolt irregular which is a 4.56 gears with a posi, 8” springs from Superlift, rear shackle flip from off road design and a 6” shackle, axle was shaved and cleaned up with Barnes anti wrap up spring purchase, also used Off road design 14” lift rear brake line, professionally built custom velocity driveline.


Interior:

Changed out stock steering column replaced with manual transmission steering column and added a floor shifter (B&M quick shift), seats are 2002 Chrysler 300 black leather. I have a newer rear bench seat that is not installed. New door rubber seals.


Transmission:

Turbo 350 with a 203 transfer case installed new deep transmission pan and filter, installed Summit 2000 stall torque converter.


Motor:

Motor is a 3970010, bored 30 over, fresh bearings, new Summit cam (1103), street dominator intake, Edelbrock 750 carb with manual choke, Summit noisy gear drive, all new gaskets, new headers, new Summit ignition box, new Summit HEI distributor, new Summit spark plug wires, new E3 spark plugs, all new belts and hoses including power steering hoses.


Exhaust:

All new exhaust, new headers, new 3” X exhaust and 3” Summit flowmasters with turn downs.

Clears 44” tires.


Main part of body has no rust or light surface rust, only rust spot is on front bumper from battery acid.


Motor was rebuilt less than 4000 miles ago speedometer says 18,000 but it's not accurate.


Negatives are: did not change front axle gear ratio, did not have front driveline extended.

Dents: large dent driver side front fender as shown, large dent in rear passenger corner, rear bumper crinkled, battery acid corroded on front passenger fender. Vehicle has old tires on it. Windshield has a crack in it.


This Jimmy is super fun to drive and is loud and the gear drive is loud and it gets a lot of attention. This is a project and an opportunity to teach my 14 year old son how to build a truck, it took a little over a year and over $12,000 in parts.
