Up for auction is a 1951 GMC base pickup truck. As you can see from the photos, this is no rust bucket, just an amazing truck that turns heads wherever you drive. Equipped with the standard straight 6 but with a Holley 4 barrel carburetor and electric fuel pump, manual 4 speed transmission.Glass is all perfect and windows all work. All lights and turn signals work along with the windshield wipers. Has original drum brakes that stop the truck quickly. This truck has gone through a partial restoration with nice paint and redone interiorthat still has the old fashion floor starter. Chrome is good witheyelid headlight covers and the old fashion windshield visor.Lots of fun to go to Home Depot or to pick upa Christmas tree with thisvehicle. Ok, what does it need? An air conditioner to drive in the summer in Florida and a stereo to play your favorite tunes. Issues with the truck are: Speedometer and fuel gauge not working, does have a tachometer and other gauges. Slight scrape on the roof and I think, runs a little loud, maybe replace the Flowmasters.Has relatively new tires with less than 500 miles on them.
This is at least a$15,000 dollar truck but I'm setting a low reserve of $9,999 so good luck bidding. I also have the truck listed with Classic Cars.com so I reserve the right to call off the auction should the truck sell before the end of the auction. Truck is located in Lake Worth, Florida and can be seen or driven easily with an appointment.
