1987 Honda CRX Si w/ a fully legal '89 JDM B16A swap. May be one of the cleanest and rust free, first gens you'll find on the road today and is priced accordingly. She was born and raised in Southern California (Bakersfield from 87-2013 and San Diego from '13-now) and has zero rust and has never been in an accident. All paperwork on the swap and maintenance history available. I've had her for almost 4 years and truly hate to see her go as it is my high school dream car, but we're moving and need to sell.
The GOOD:
-160 hp on an under 2,000 pound car, pulls good enough to give you a chub but not enough to need to upgrade your life insurance policy
-It's a head turner that has a small but very strong fan base. Driving around people make compliments and ask for pictures quite often
-About 75,000 original miles on the car (Dash was changed during swap, pictures available). I've put about 15,000 total over last 3.5 years.
-Under 80,000 miles on the engine, runs very strong
-B16 transmission, smooth shifting and no major gear issues but have brand new carbon lined synchros will include in sale
-Original seats, carpets, and interior. Super clean
-Passed California BAR in 2014. Had to invest about 4 months and $2,000 to get it to pass, converted to OBD1, stock exhaust manifold, Ho2 sensor, etc. Will include parts previously on car, ECU, exhaust manifold, HID headlight system, stock air intake.
-Just passed smog last month
-Registered until Apr '18 (stickers on the way)
-All lights, sunroof, heater, front wipers (no fluid) work
-Lowered 1.5in around w/ eibach springs
-New exhaust and muffler installed in '14
The BAD:
-Minor cosmetic issues, paint chipping on left rear bumper, 2.5 in crack on driver side skirt, 2 small bumps on hood. New original color paint done in 2011
-Rear wiper doesn't work
-No AC (lost during swap, but can be put in)
-Need new brakes in rear
-Tires are mostly bald need to be replaced
-Parking break notification light remains on
-Issue with car alarm not working every time
