1989 Honda CRX HF

Description

I bought this CRX from a dealer in CO 06-08 with the idea of completely restoring it. The vehicle had 183,125 miles on it. Although it drives fine it needs struts and a few other items. The CRX now has 183,835 miles, 700+ miles in 10 years, it's spent most of it's time in storage since I have owned it. I took a compression check when I bought it.and it was within specifications see below. As you can see from the pictures the only bad rust it has is in the back two wheel wells, I have new wheel well panels which go with the vehicle, the underside looks good. I installed a new brake and clutch bracket, two new tires,AC belt, timing belt cover, exhaust pipe and muffler, new battery 07-17, I have a set of new struts for front and rear. The original seats need recovering and they go with the vehicle. I installed seats from a 912 Porsche they also need attention see pictures. I looked up the engine and transmission numbers and came up with the following. The vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel at any time.THE HONDA IS A 89 CRX HF WITH A 92-95 D15B7 HM(1808132) ENGINE FROM A CIVIC DX/LX 1493CC 102HP @5900 95 FT LB @5000 4CYL, 16 VALVE SOHC. Transmission is a 5sp L3 1990-1991 Transmission (2029246). The transmission shaft has 2 Groves on it making it a (90-91 Trans) Vehicle Color Blue Met. Base coat (B47M)
Vehicle has been in storage most of the time I've owned it.Driven 705 Miles Driven in nine years.
