1967 International 908 1/2 ton Short Wide Bed project rat rod pickup runs drive

Description

This auction is for a 1967 International Harvester 908 SWB pickup. Originally blue color but repainted gold at some time. V8 with a 4-speed in the floor. The body is really solid overall and the bed floor is nice and straight. Previous owner put sheet metal on driver and passenger side floor. I think it was overkill because the original floor from underneath is still present and not all that bad. See pictures of under-body. Has the typical cowl rust mainly on the passenger upper side when hood is opened. Floor braces, rockers(inner, bottom and outer) all solid. Noticeable dent on rear upper bed portion(passenger side). Previous owner said the radiator was leaking and he parked it. Sold to me long ago but I don't have the time to finish this project. I put a good battery in it and got it running again and found that the radiator does in fact have a leak in front middle area. It runs, drives and stops but is still a project truck that needs tlc before making it a daily driver. Seat is comfortable. Not sure what size engine block is but it has matching set of travelall heads. I could not find engine number on front right pad of engine block. The pad is nice and smooth which might be an unmarked warranty block. Fuel tank was cleaned and repainted. Stay tuned as more pictures to come. Thanks and good luck.
