1979 International Scout II 4 X 4 Carry-All

Description

This international Scout was part of a collection of cars that I purchased from a collector . The previous owner purchased this scout in 1994. He put about 1500 miles on in in the 22 years that he owned it. The scout was stored inside a building the entire time he owned it. I have very limited knowledge on this scout. I specialize in European cars.
I know there is bondo above the rear fenders. The engine does turn. We will purchase a battery tomorrow and see if we can get it to start
The top is removable.
I have the first page of the build sheet I can email. I am also happy to email photos direct to serious buyers. I have a few more photos that are not on this listing.
Illinois buyers will pay sales tax of 6.25% at time of purchase. You will also have to pay the $95.00 title fee.

The scout is not drivable and will need to be trailered home. Shiiping is the responsibility of the buyer but I am happy to work with your shipper.

On Apr-20-16 at 12:30:12 PDT, seller added the following information:

We where able to start the scout today. We used an auxillary fuel source because I know the vehicle has been sitting for awhile. The needle valve is stuck so it does not stay running. The oil pressure gage is right in the middle. Please see me answer to the question regarding motor mounts.
