Motivated to sell...!!!Hello, for sale is my 1973 International Scout II.The Scout runs and drives great. It's completely mechanically sound and is ready for the Beach, Hunting, Camping or just daily drives to work. It has its numbers matching 345 V-8 motor which is very healthy, with good compression and no smoking. The truck has a nice Automatic Transmission which is also numbers matching and completely sound, shifts nice and smooth. Axles are Dana 44 front and rear, manual locking hubs up front. Singlestick transfer case and 4x4 running gear works just fine. The brakes are new, with new master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders. It has a nice Holley Carb, with a racing DUI distributor which warms up quickly so no long wait for warm up just get in it and go. It starts with one turn of the key every time. It's also set up with two batteries in case you want to install a winch and running lights.It has its factory correct 15" and 31" tires. It is equipped with power steering and front disc brakes which makes driving a breeze. The interior is in great shape, front & rear seats and door panels in black vinyl with brown and grey plaid. The weatherstripping on the front doors,window sealsand window felts are in excellent condition. All the gauges work as they should also the radio works good. It's an absolutely beautiful Scout. Mostimportantly it's a California rust free truck and has been maintained its entire life. More people are starting to understand just how cool these Scouts are.
