Description

First Model Year of the Classic International Scout II.
Awesome Beach Cruiser, fully convertible with a roll bar and a new Besttop Bimini soft top, off or on in two minutes max.
Strong 345 V-8 IH motor runs great, not original motor.3 Speed Borg Warner Automatic Transmission, shifts well.4 X 4 2 Speed Dana transfer case.Good example of a first year Scout II that hasn't been built up.Manual front locking hubs, choke, steering, and brakes, just like it came from the factory.New brake master cylinder and battery. All lights and gauges work, fuel gauge operational.
Runs cool with good oil pressure, drives straight-some play in steering box-easy to convert to power steering.Just drove it 10 miles on the freeway to the beach the other day for photos no problem. Runs Strong.
Classic Jacobs Omni Pak Electronic Ignition Upgrade circa 1975 that still works perfect.
Mileage 90200 may be accurate-not sure-did rescue Scout from a field- last registered 2004-so very possible.
Clean Title, registered up to Jan. 2019

I've decided to convert to power steering so doing that today. Pulling parts from a 77 Traveler that's in the yard.Manual steering was just to loose and box adjustment didn't fix so out she comes...also replacing radiator with one from Traveler, old one shows sign of leakage.
