Head turning Scout II !!!!!
Description
Suns out funs out!!!
I acquired this Scout out of Oregon from a guy who restored it the year I bought it. This is my second one. First one was out of Idaho. When I sold the first one I had sellers remorse and 1 year later bought this one. I have had it for about 4 years. I have no doubt I'll have sellers remorse so bid fast and high. Why do it? My oldest daughter is heading to IU so I'll be a Hoosier Daddy this fall...but I'll always be a Iowa Hawkeye at heart. Things I have had done. I had the carb rebuilt, new power steering box and pump, new brakes, master cyclinder, new starter. Paint is a very cool color by not IH. It is 1967 VW bus green. I have a can of the paint the guy sent when I bought it. It is factory air Scout. It is original and not operational. Body is in great shape no rust or dents. One Minor crack in the dash. It also has an amp in the center counsel, speakers in side door and speakers that go in the back and door mounted speakers. Doors inserts and dash are rhino lined. There is no spare tire but the loop it still there. Interior dash and door inserts rhino lined. All gauges works. It has a strong 4 barrel 345 automatic that doesn't smoke drip or tick. It has steering stabilizer installed and does well at highway speeds. I don't off road. I mainly drive it nice weeks. Ice cream shop, soccer games and vintage car events. It is better to email or text me as I get busy and I am on a plane a lot. For folks who are extremely serious I can arrange seeming it at my house or I'll also be at the first Car night in Skokie IL Monday Memorial Day. I am not looking for trades for other vintage bikes or cars. For sales locally so I reserve the right to end auction early. This is a as is sale. Cash is king. Thanks for looking and good luck.
