Description

Hi Scout Lovers!
This 1964 International Scout Model 80 is stunning and a definite head turner!! Everybody will want to be your friend and come up to you to talk about this gorgeous truck you will be driving. Everyone from perfect strangers, young kids, grandpa's who drove one years ago will ask about this truck. I even get, "What kind of truck is that"? "That is an awesome looking truck" and will want to ask if it's OK to take a picture or selfie next to the Scout.
This Scout is as about "sweet" as they get. The Scout has been gone over both on the undercarriage as well as a new repaint done in Gunmetal Gray. A 3" lift has been added to the Scout to give it that nice higher stance. Some additional upgrades include an upgraded dual reservoir master brake cylinder, disc brakes up front with brand new oversized 11" inch drums in the rear, two new gas tanks, fuel filler necks for both tanks, all new fuel lines, fuel selector valve under driver side, customized International Harvester fuel gas caps. Front seats and rear seat have new upholstery installed and was meticulously done with new front and rear seat belts installed as well, new tailgate cables. The suspension has been upgraded to a Crawler Proven Technology suspension system and included a brand new Custom Dutchman Motorsports 9" inch rear axle with POSI. The axle was made to match the exact specifications of the Dana 27 rear axle. The truck is geared at 4.88:1 and runs incredibly smooth. Original engine to the Scout, starts first time and every time and is an absolute "FUN" truck to drive. An upgraded Kenwood stereo with (APP/USB/MP3/Phone input) as well as two custom speakers built under the front seats and two speakers mounted in the rear have been installed for driving pleasure.
Again, this Scout is an absolute blast to drive. Looks awesome and everyone wants to have their picture taken with it. You will not find a better looking, driving Scout out there for the money. Thank you for bidding and good luck. Any questions can be answered via phone during my normal work business hours at (412) 491-7300. As an fyi, I am not a car dealer, but a collector and enthusiast of cars that are fun to drive!
