Description

Selling our 1967 International Harvester Camper Mobile. This runs great, does not smoke. the body is perfect! No dings, dents or any body work that we can tell. It is very stock. No rust. Stock engine, stock air conditioning, stock auto-trans, stock power steering etc. Not shown in picture is the original Camper mobile bumper which has a compartment that holds the camper's hose--it is perfect, no rust -can send pictures.
We purchased this truck from the grandson of the original owner. We were told his grandfather had some property and two IH trucks. He must have owned a Norton too - decal in back window ;-) The previous owner screwed up and put a rubber blanket on the bed which caused a lot of surface rust which we painstakingly stripped back down to bare metal and we had the bed professionally sprayed with a bed liner so that it will be good for many years to come. We just replaced both door's panel backer boards but kept the original door vinyl which is in great shape. It has the IH 1967 stamp on the back so it's original. We replaced the door weather stripping. We fixed the doors which didn't open/close well. We replaced the choke with an electric one and removed the smog crap. (We kept it if you want it) We replaced the valve cover gaskets and oil pan gasket.
The truck leaks a little, though the previous owner told us it didn't. We now have fixed 90% of the leaks with new valve/oil pan gaskets but still a little oil. We did not have the valve covers or oil pan pounded flat -- in hindsight we should have. If we were to keep the truck we'd do that when they are removed for something else.
