This is a rare opportunity to purchase arecently uncovered mostly original e type jaguar that has been sitting on jack stands,in a heated storage spacesince the early eighties
The photographs in the listing are from when I purchased the car, the first photographs shows the car on my driveway. I plan to take additional photographs that show all the work that has been completed, which I make available to anyone that would like to see them. I will replace some of the photographs in the listing and add extra photographs
Since I have purchased this car have had the following work completed by a local British Car specialist. My guide was make the car safe and driveable. No expense has been spared
1. Radiator re-cored and installed
2. New Water Pump
3. New hose kit installed
4. Gas tank removed professionally cleaned and reinstalled
5. New Sender Unit
6. New Fuel Pump
7. Carbs, removed, cleaned and rebuilt and re-installed
8. Manifold linkages refurbished
9. New Alternator, New Plugs and Plug Leads, New Distributor Cap, Points and Condenser
10. New Master Brake Cylinder
11. New Brake Slave Cylinder.
12. New Braded Stainless Steel Brake Hose and New Brake Tubing
13. Brake Calipers removed and sent to a caliper rebuild specialist then reassembled back onto the car (like new), New Brake Pads

13b New Brake fluid & Clutch fluid Resovoirs
14. New Master Clutch Cylinder,
15. New Clutch Slave Cylinder, New Hoses
16. BatterySupport Shelf has been cut out (corroded) andreplacedwith a new one, which has been welded in place

The car now purrs like the cat and is safe to drive
The top needs to be replaced. The interior is complete and in relatively good shape, the leather is dry but redeemable, there is some stitching that has parted on the passenger seat cushion but is repairable, the dash is in very good shape
The tires are original but need to be replaced
The chrome wheels and knock off's are in excellent condition
There are no cracks, stone chips or cracks in the glass
The chrome bright work is in good condition, but there is an indentation in the rear passenger bumper. The are signs of some very minor damage on the passenger rear corner which was repair, nothing serious
The rubber trim needs replacing (dry rot)
It has stainless steel rear mufflers
It has a hard top (Black)
The car is very solid the floor pans still have factoryred paint
Overall the car is very straight, door gaps are good, doors do not sag. It has a number of minor dings and scratchesaround the car and a dent in the nose of the hood that can be seen in the photographs. The exterior of this car is best described as a 10 footer
Compression test performed with valves closed, here are the results from cylinders 1 thru 6 respectively = 140, 130, 125, 145, 135, 135
