Description

1993 Jaguar XJS convertible with 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION.

In a world off sexy Jaguars, this model must be close to the top of the list.

For most of the last 25 years, it was has been used as a weekend driver. This car in our opinion it drives better than most similar Jags.

The 6 cylinder Engine is coupled to the original five-speed transmission. No expense was spared on this car over the time it was maintained by the current owner’s Jaguar shop. He has repair records that show maintenance for 25 years. This is a classic Jaguar that can be driven as an alternative to a contemporary car. Needless to say, this is one very fast car.
We have never seen another XJS quite like this car. Fast, reliable, and sure to appreciate in value. In a world of great Jaguars, this one is an impressive driving machine.

The car shows well, the panels are straight, the interior is original and very clean. Everything works as it is supposed to. The soft top is like new.

There are some imperfections in the paint. On the cowl by the front windshield, there is a slight discoloration as well as on the trunk, you could say those areas have lost a bit of the clear coating or were cleaned with a strong detergent ( just a guess), nothing major but noticeable when up close. The right front fender was replaced therefore there is no sticker, the hood was also replaced. All the other panels have the original factory stickers. There is a Carfax report that shows a total loss from an accident on the right front fender. See pictures. The Maryland title on hand is clean and in the owner’s name. Ask questions and or have someone look at the car before buying, but there is no frame damage or evidence of a similar problem

According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust Archives, there may have been only 2 cars with manual transmission sent to the North American market with this combination

There were a total of 58 cars built with these specifications between 1993 and 1994 most of them sold in Europe. Please do your own research.

The exterior of the car is black with tan leather interior and a black soft top and

black alloy wheels. (These wheels were an option )

Smooth functioning electric convertible top, power seats, heated seats, good AC, original cassette radio, tilt wheel, and a full-size spare in the trunk

Recent repair bill includes new fuel filter, electrical switches, alternator and control arm bushings, differential mounts, new tires, new bulbs, and brakes.
