Description

Excellent example of a 1984 Jeep CJ7 Laredo with all original drivetrain and interior showing 47,000 miles. All original interior with the exception of the roll bar pad which I have but has a bad zipper. Jeep was originally Classic Black with Silver Stripes was recently repainted to period correct Olympic White. Before you Jeep nuts get on me, yes this was originally a Laredo and I have the original Laredo rockers but did not reinstall them as I have not purchased new t-nuts to complete the job. Easy job to do. I also have a Kenwood cassette deck that is not currently installed but comes with the Jeep. I had this rig on the road all summer and drove it without issue. It passed NYS inspection with no problem and is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. It's a head turner for sure and the rare automatic transmission makes it more desireable to some. It is sold with no body filler and frame is good. I cannot think of anything it will need in the near future as it had been gone through mechanically from the carb to the brakes. I encourage anyone to contact me with questions before bidding as I am happy to address any inquiry and will post it on the listing for others to see. If you have "0" or negative feedback, don't bother bidding as your bid will be deleted due to many negative experiences in the past. $500 non-refundable deposit required within 24 hours from winning bidder and full payment within 7 days. Thank you for looking.

I noticed a "typo" after I submitted the listing. The above should read: "It is SOLID with no body filler and frame is good."

The following update was my response to some questions this morning 11/14/17that did not post to the listing like it should have:

"When the Jeep was repainted, it was decided to replace the tub as there was the typical CJ rust around the rear fenders and spot welds. Instead of fighting it, it was easier to go new. Body mounts, frame etc. were all good. As for ALL the other metal from the front clip to the tailgate, it is ALL original. The only chrome replaced were the mirrors. The wheels are original but the clear was stripped to bring back the shine which is typical. The front bumper and rear bumperettes are also original but were bed lined. Hardtop and all glass is original. ALL of the weather stripping was replaced with a full kit including the window belts which were dry and cracked"

I have updated this listing several time because of the questions I am getting which is great. Jeep was repainted white as a personal choice. One particular bidder takes offense to the color change but it is what it is. The interioris still black as I made the choice to keep the look it originally had. Hence the dash was not torn apart and painted. This is a VERY niceJeep and I have owned over a dozen of them. If you are a die-hard factory correct collector and want nothing but showroom with absolutely every correct nut and bolt then, THIS ONE IS NOT FOR YOU. I make every effort to be honest and have nothing to hide. I will continue to list updatesas I receive them. Thanks again.

Another response to questions listed below. For whatever reason the feature of listing the response automatically is not working and therefore I have to cut and paste:

After being driven, there's a spot about the size of a quarter after sitting for a long period. The drivetrain has not been touched and it original so it should be noted engine has not been rebuilt or even removed from the Jeep for that matter. 4x4 works perfectly though I never had it off road. Hubs lock in and out fine and shifter works as well. Title is clean as stated in the original listing. Yes, the top and doors that are on it are the original equipment it was born with. Frame and axles are scaled typical of a Northeast Jeep but not rotted. Transmission shifts perfectly going through all the gears (3) and has no issues. Again its original and has not been played with. All the gauges work including the clock. The only dash light out is the top square for the wiper. Easily replaceable I have just not done it.
