1982 Jeep Scrambler **RUST FREE ARIZONA CJ8**
Description
Rust Free ARIZONA 1982 Jeep Scrambler. No rust, no bed liner, no problems!
For some reason, eBay did not accept my VIN number. The VIN is 1JCMM88E0CT044761
Check out the photos! You're looking at a very original Jeep CJ8 Scrambler from 1982. There is not a spec of rust, rot, etc. on this Jeep. Incredibly solid vehicle. The photos will speak for themselves!
The Jeep drives very well. It does have a rear main seal leak (they all do), but since it uses a 2-piece rear main seal, replacement just takes a couple of hours. Jeep starts right up and runs great. Shifts in to 4wd without any hesitation. Drives down the freeway without any death wobble. Runs perfectly in 110* Arizona summers! Very solid, mostly original Jeep.
The previous owner removed and sold the bulkhead, hard top, and doors. With some searching, they do come up on Craigslist used. The Warn winch does not come with the Jeep. The Jeep will come with the tow-bar assembly as you see pictured. The Jeep does have a nice slate blue rear seat, along with rear facing seats for the truck bed. The nice thing about these additional seats is that when they were installed, the owner used enough sense to make custom brackets so that all OEM hole locations were used instead of having to drill holes. There are no holes in the truck bed that should not be there! These rear seats can be removed by just taking out a couple of bolts.
Jeep is 36 years old and needs some very minor things replaced. For example, it needs new heater controls, turn signal switch (included, but not installed), and a few very minor things such as these.
This is a super-solid Jeep Scrambler that is very hard to find in this condition. I do have a very nice (an easy 9/10 rating) Kayline half cab soft top that I bought last year and was slated for a separate project. If desired, I will include for an additional $500 after the sale. This will come with all hardware and matching soft doors.
I'm open to offers, but please be realistic. Jeeps like this don't come up often. Feel free to ask any questions BEFORE making an offer. I can be reached via phone at 520-789-0875. Please, don't call at crazy hours. I live in Arizona so consider the time over here before calling. Text at any time also. I have a great transport guy that I use often if you won't be coming here to pick up the Jeep. He prices are unbeatable!
