Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 1993 Jeep Cherokee 2 door with a five speed manual transmission. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is still a decent looking Jeep. It is finished in dark green over tan interior, which is a good color combination. The green finish shows some fading from age but is presentable, for an old Jeep. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, this old Jeep has held up pretty well over the years. The worst I can really say about the exterior is that there is a visible dent in the driver's door. Aside from that, the body is really straight. The hood, doors, and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory five spoke wheels are painted black, which gives this Jeep an aggressive look, and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber which are nearing the end of their useful life. If you're looking for an old stick shift square Cherokee, you know how hard they are to find. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this old Jeep came in. I would also rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner look good, for their age, too. The carpets show a few marks from age but are not excessively worn. The seats also show some wear from age, but are definitely presentable. The interior is pretty basic. The windows, locks, and mirrors are all manual. The previous owner upgraded the factory tape deck with a Sony in-dash CD player...which I cannot figure out how to turn on. Also, the previous owner appears to have kept their sweet custom shift knob, so you get to install your own sweet custom shift knob. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows cold air still, too. The fan doesn't always do what I think it should do...but it appears to be working. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this old Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good, for an old Jeep. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine temperature gauge doesn't work...but all the other gauges appear to be working. The big straight six makes good power and feels strong. The belt squeals a little, but no biggie. The clutch engages smoothly and shfits properly. Gear changes through the desirable five speed manual transmission are clean and precise, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight and feels good, for an old Jeep. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. This is a solid old Jeep that is ready to go over, or through, anything you want. If you've been looking for this truck, you know how hard they can be to find with the right equipment. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
