This 1989 Land Rover 110 variant was manufactured under license in Spain by Land Rover Santana SA Motors. their designation is Santana 2500 in part to the Land Rover 2.5 NA 4cyl diesel engine.The Land Rover Santana S.A Motor Company built Land Rovers under license, parts were shipped over from the Land Rover factory in Solihull and the Land Rovers were built up from this 'kit' at the Santana factory in Spain. In 1962 the company became responsible for promoting the Santana and Land Rover brands in the Central and South American Markets as well as Africa This vehicle came from the arid part of Spain around the Valencia area.Pretty much all of Spain is a sunshine country and that means no salt used on the roads. Improvements by Santana includes more reliable electric components, stronger welds, catalytic converters, parabolic spring, anti-sway bars,and the 5 speed LT85 transmission which was developed by Santana. Land Rover UK purchased LT85 gearboxes directly from Santana for its V8 110 and 90s between 1984 and 1991. This Land Rover is in great condition with no rust. I apologize for the muddy underneath pictures. Rust free The bulkhead is in great shape. The doors are complete and solid. All steel is good, they open and close as they should and all windows roll up and down correctly. All door seals are in good shape. Side windows slide and lock correctly. Frame is completely solid.This 110 has Power steering, power brakes, genuine shocks all around. Previous owner did a new timing belt service, brake service and I had the clutch replaced as well as new engine mounts and new starter. It fires up at the turn of the key without hesitation of smoke and here in Florida you don't even have to fire up the glow plugs.The rear door spare is worn but is good as a spare. It was cared for by its one previous owner and kept garaged. This is not a restoration but as a well kept 29 year old car it is in great shape. The car is sold with a clean Florida title in my name.(That means if you can title a Florida car in your state, you can title this one).I am not a car dealer.I personally Bought it in Spain, drove it, legally imported and all customs taxes paid, federal and state inspected as well as Spain ITV, and given a clean bill of health.The truck runs and drives as it should. The transfer case is strong and shifts right 2wheel high,4wheel high, 4wheel low. The transmission runs through all gears fine. The engine runs good. No rust
