Description

Clean California rust-free 995 LandRover Range Rover Classic, an all-original County Edition. This is a desirable LWB ( Long WheelBase) configuration model. Out of long-term storage and ready for a new owner.1995 was the last and the most sought-after year model of the Range Rover, with the revised updated interior, the very desirable CDL ( Central Differential Lock) system, one-year-only Dual Airbags, soft dash and chrome bumpers, all features only available on 1995 Models.
Solid TWO-OWNER California Land Rover, residing here all of itslife since being purchased new. Try to find that in an East-coast car, where the whole underside is likely corroded away and impossible to repair !
This Classic LWB is all original with updated coil & shock suspension in place of the nightmarish EAS, along with heavy-duty BILSTEIN struts. Approximately 124K original miles, EXTREMELY LOW for any Land Rover. Stock 4.2L engine runs nicely. It starts immediately, idles and drives well. Always runs cool, and quietly, with NO valvetrain or bottom-end noise and NO cylinder sleeve chatter whatsoever.
There is no rust nor corrosion on this vehicle as it would be expected from any California-lived Land Rover ( hard-pressed condition to find in any beyond the Sierra mountains). BEWARE OF RUST BUCKETS COMING FROM THE EAST COAST~! ( it's beyond me why anyone would want to buy an East coast car with potential hidden rust, which is unrepairable ).
This LWB Classic comes fully equipped with most standard features available at the time of production to include:
* Moonroof* Central Differential Lock* Only year of the updated Soft dash* NICE CYCLONE alloys ( same as on the Defender)* Factory Towing package* Revised interior configuration* Level II Safari Pack: Side stepsHeadlamp guardsTaillight guardsHELLA Comet driving lightsHELLA 500 auxiliary lights
Stock 4.2L engine runs very well. As it is well documented in all Land rover circles, the 4.2 motor was an improvement over the earlier 3.9 engines as it was more robust and had more torque as a result of engine redesigning to increase displacement to a more efficient, reliable motor.
NO overheating issues to contend with. NONE. Automatic transmission shifts well into all gears. Four-wheel Power disc brakes brake smoothly without pulsation.Power steering,Power windows ( all four work), Power mirrors,Power heated seats, cruise control, factory stereo andcold A/C.
Finish is in Beluga-Black factory color, with NO oxidation present on the roof or hood clearcoat ( common ailment in all Land Rovers). Still shines nicely. The body, chassis, floorboards, door sills, doors and undercarriage are super solid and completely RUST-FREE, amazing considering this Classic is twenty three years young !
Its Connolly tan leather upholstery is in remarkable condition and has held up well. There are no cracks or tears on any of the leather bolsters in the seats. No rips, tears or seam splits. Recent complete headliner. NON SMOKER.Overall, avery clean originalinterior, door panels, perfect dash and factory original carpeting. In addition, it still retains its original rear cargo cover, a hard-to-find item almost always missing on all Range Rover Classics. Also, LR UK-made Unipart rear mudguards ( which were not yet installed at the time the photos were taken).
The photos show this LWB accurately. NON SMOKER vehicle, ever. A very solid, rust-free unrestored classic, with better-than-average miles and an excellent 4.2L engine. It runs well with a strong, solid powertrain. It will make an excellent base for a concours restoration, traveler or overlander, camping vehicle or just a fun Land Rover to drive aroundas it is.
* My nearly 1300+ all-positive feedback and the vehicle's condition and photographs speak for themselves.
I am a long-time Land Rover enthusiast; I've been around Land Rovers for over 30 years, and have owned various models and vintages.Unlike the vast majority of sellers who simply sell what they do not know ( let alone car dealers!), I have proudly owned Land Rovers my whole life ( actually, I still own four others: a 2010 Sport, a 2004 HSE, a Discovery I and a Discovery II) and I am fairly familiar with all their quirks.
Feel free to call me with serious, pertinent questions at (650) 430-4660 PST or text message if preferred. I have priced this Classic at fair-market to sell. This is a last-year of the Range Rover, before it stopped being manufactured and the Classics became part of automotive history. You simply cannot find these 95' LWBs anywhere for this price, without being totally rotted out. Plus, it's always better to restore as you go ( to your taste, not someone else's, and their usual $30K+ price tag)
Land Rovers are the best investment for the money. I am also advertising this vehicle in several other venues, and as such, I reserve the right to end this listing at any time should a serious BUY-IT-NOW offer present itself.
Please ensure that your funding sources are in place prior to placing a bid or an offer. Payment to be received within THREE business days. It can be made via Cashier's check or money order(s). Business, Personal or Annuity checks may also be utilized but mustclear first prior to any transportation arrangements being made. An alternate way is bank wire transfer to our local CHASE Bank branch here in town. It expedites the process considerably and allows for faster shipping arrangements. Finally, a ZELLE payment is also accepted.
Upon receipt of payment, I will mail the clear California title and bill of sale via USPS Priority mail with tracking information.
I will be glad to assist coordination transportation/ delivery of the Range Rover Classic anywhere nationwide or overseas at the most reasonable rate available. I have shipped overseas many times, to various localities very easily.NOTE: Do not go by the Ebay calculator. It can ship for under $1000 anywhere to the East coast. Closer to CA for less of course.
Feel free to contact me with serious inquiries. Thank you.
