This left hand drive 1987 Defender 90 was legally imported and is titled in Virginia. The VIN is SALLDVAB8AA278191. It has the 2.5 turbodiesel engine with only 80k original miles.

Vehicle will be sold with a clear Virginia title and all customs clearance documents for buyer's records. The Defender is in great condition overall. Low miles at only 80k miles. It starts quick every time and does not smoke, sounds excellent and engine runs strong. It is the model with sunroof. Many new parts recently installed and it is fully serviced. Suspension renewed with new springs/shocks, tie rod ends, 'A' frame ball joint and swivels fully resealed with new kits. All tires have very good remaining tread. All fluids have been changed. Truck runs excellent and does not smoke. There is no rust on the vehicle and the body is straight with only a few small dents here and there that are not noticeable. The Defender was originally green and has been resprayed white at some point. The paint shows signs of wear and various touch ups over the years, paint is decent overall but does have various flaws. Frame has no rust, door bottoms and floors are solid.
I can ship the car anywhere at buyer's expense. Vehicle sold AS IS, it is 25 years old and does have age related wear and tear, it is not a restored vehicle. No warranty expressed or implied. For bidders who many be interested in financing, classic car financing works differently than traditional auto loans. The qualifications are primarily credit and income dependent, one company I have worked with in the past is Woodside Credit and they are excellent. A few of my buyers have financed Defenders through them and the process was efficient and streamlined. For credit qualified buyers, Woodside is a great option to consider.

NOTE: One person has asked about the surface rust on the chassis so far. I assume others might have similar concerns so please be ASSURED that it is just surface rust, it DOES NOT need any patches or repairs. Just wire brush it off and treat it. This Defender is from Italy, not the UK so it does not have terminal rust issues like that, no need for concern.
