This NOT an over pimped modified Defender trying to be something its not.... Previous owner added the checker plate which is a shame but could be removed. There are ding etc which come with the age but I think add to its charm. Totally usable vehicle not a garage queen that will never see the dirt.
69,000 miles. I have known this Defender for over 12 years and it has been well cared for. Since acquiring it I have done everything its needed and more with an extensive parts list of new parts.
It was owned by me in the UK and legally imported last year. All the necessary import requirements were complied with and it sailed through Customs check, NJ titling and registration with no flags or concerns. This is a COMPLETELY legal and honest original Defender. It will be sold with original sales documents, Certified build certificate with all serial numbers and a NJ title/registration
The main thing is a brand new genuine heavy duty (3mm versus 2mm) rear chassis member and with no other rot or chassis corrosion. The bulkhead is perfect with no signs of corrosion. The entire chassis was steam cleaned and waxoyl protected.New- headlining and insulation. seat squabs retaining original trim. starter motor. Power steering box. Drive swivels and U joints. Headlights, sidelights, turn signals etc. Complete engine service All suspension joints replaced with polyurethane. Turn signal switch. Fuel level sender. Mud flaps and interior mat. Side decals. Rear door trim. Front door seals. Rear side window felts. Front window seals. Rear heated window switch. Water thermostat.
N.B. The spot lights and front fog lamps have been removed.
